Jazz Concerts at Monterey Peninsula College

May 2nd 3pm-5pm and May 26th 7:30-9:30pm

Come and join us for 2 great concerts this spring. On Sunday May 2nd, Guest artist Mark Sherman will join the MPC big band for a few numbers and then play a set as a quartet with Dan Robbins (bass), Billy Jones (drums), and Eddie Mendenhall (piano). Mark Sherman brings original compositions and so does Eddie along with famous standards.

Our regular spring will happen on May 26th at 7:30pm. This concert will begin with the MPC Jazz Improvisation Class playing standards from the jazz repertoire and continue with the MPC Big Band, directed by Eddie Mendenhall. The band will play an exciting medley of big band classics.  We hope you will join us for a diverse and exciting evening of jazz. Admission is free.
